AMY

She was only 16, young, beautiful and blonde/She had a lot of friends and a loving family, her life was like a song/Her boyfriend Alex though, used to treat her like garbage/He would hit her and push her everytime a fight was started/One day Amy woke up and had a sharp pain in her stomach/She rushed to the bathroom and began to violently vomit/She grabbed her mother and said, "I need to go to the E.R."/The family got ready and hopped inside the car/They pulled up and rushed Amy to a room/The nurse told the family to wait and that the doc will be back soon/Hours pass by but still no sign of the doc/The family is nervously waiting with eyes up on the clock/Amy's hooked up to wires and machines with surgeons around her body/They're using every method they can to stop the blood from clotting/She has bruises and cuts from a violent altercation/For the staff it's personal, she's not just another patient/Suddenly the machine makes a long BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP and they pause/They did everything they could but Amy was gone/The doc walks in the E.R. to tell Amy's family the bad news/They are all hugging and crying while wipping tears away with tissues/"I am sorry to tell you about your beautiful daughter Amy/But she didn't make it.........and neither did the baby."

  1. Nice...you had a dream about this?? It was good, but very depressing too.

  2. Yeah just a random dream about a girl who was being abused by her boyfriend and then went to the hospital and died along with her baby that she never knew she had. Yes very sad! Reminds me of an old Live song called "Lightning Crashes" I am sure you've heard of it. Any way I decided to put a poem together this morning describing my dream. I actually got emotional after I read my own poem! Crazy huh?
