Tornado

Being with her is like trying to tame a tornado/Impossible to understand but once she’s yours the ride is that of anything ever known to man/She brings her love like a hurricane; the force of it will rip the breath from your lungs/But like watching a storm roll in with curious eyes, your feet will never move/Your body will simply brace until she lights a fire inside of you that will rise, and overtake, and soon you will both be lost in the beauty of it/The absolute raw force of fire and wind and rain all dancing and weaving in a torrent around where you each stand, together/Your sense of touch will be amplified, utterly charged and leaving you near catatonic from the awe of feeling such power racing through your fingertips; indeed, you’ve never touched a tornado until now/And you’ll take in the fierce scent of her until it fills your lungs and clouds your mind, until you can think of nothing but twisted metal and pouring rain/Until you desire nothing but to feel that again, that fury that rocked your soul, that girl who took your heart with the force of a thousand winds and left you kneeling on the ground, begging for more/And every night you’ll close your eyes and call up the memory of her scent, anything to get your heart to beat the way it raced with her/You’ll forever be praying to the gods for one last chance with your tornado.

Broken and Lifted

She has a heart that's been broken before and ripped right out and thrown on the floor/She's cried tears of pain and sorrow and prayed for relief and a better tomorrow/She's been pushed, hit and called a bitch/Open palms and even closed fists/Scars and bruises have all remained and of course the everlasting pain/Defeated and punished with walls built up, a savior has come with nothing but love/He hugs her, kisses her, calls her beautiful/Cares for her, loves her and the feelings mutual/For the first time she cracks a smile, something unseen in quite awhile/The walls come down that were once built up and along with that has come her trust/He wraps her up and vows to protect her. In sickness and in health as one forever/The pain has been lifted and she's no longer broken, her angel has saved her from all that was hopeless.
